It's no secret that Indonesia has a deforestation issue and the island of Lombok is no exception, so eco-friendly tour company Green Rinjani is offering Mount Rinjani trekking trips in which everyone gets to plant a tree.

On any of their Mount Rinjani treks, travelers plant their tree between Senaru and base camp before tackling the famous volcano's slopes. With Rinjani's 3,000 visitors each year, the eco-tours could really make a difference.

A three-day, two-night trekking tour costs from US$155 ($196), including pick-up and drop-off, one night in a hotel before embarking on the trek and food. You can book through Green Rinjani's website.
