Architecturally distinctive donut-shaped hotel Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort is now open in the Zhejiang Province with rates starting at CNY2,488 (S$521).
The 27-storey getaway has two curved towers: the Crystal Tower and the Jade Tower. And the circle design references the Chinese concepts of unity, wholeness, and infinity.
A one hour ride by car from Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) in Hangzhou, the project has 321 rooms, all with private balconies.
The hotel has a fitness center, indoor or outdoor pools, plus an on-premise Shine Spa. Dining options include all-day dining establishment Feast, Chinese restaurant Yue and coffee spot the Lobby Lounge.
Nearby the hotel are attractions like Feiying Ta Pagoda, Temple of the Iron Buddha and Anji Bamboo Museum, spotlighting the history and culture of bamboo.
