Phuket Town just got the moody colonial cocktail lounge it’s been waiting for
This shop-house newbie raises the bar.
Inside a gray-painted Sino-Portuguese shop-house, Dibuk House (www.fb.com/dibukhouse) raises the bar for Phuket’s cocktail scene.
Guys in waistcoats and white sleeves shake and stir ballsy craft cocktails—new-school pina coladas mixed with pineapple-infused rum and coconut skins; umeshu-and-bourbon topped with peanut butter and seaweed—before a soaring back-bar of booze and mirrors.
Located slap-bang in the Old Town, Dibuk House is already pulling in collaborations with some of our favorite bartenders (Tropic City’s Arron Grendon was down there recently), while offering an old-school colonial vibe to go with the on-point drinks.
Line your stomach with the house-baked pork belly in a Chinese bun.
