There’s a new restaurant at Khao Yai’s giant Tuscan-themed estate, Toscana Valley.
Club Lago (089-308-6555, 098-308-6555,
www.toscanavalley.com) takes its name from the Italian for lake and sits right beside a pool.
On the menu you’ll find Thai staples (somtam with grilled chicken, B280) as well as fusion dishes like grilled Australian rib eye with jaew dipping sauce (B290), salmon tacos with guacamole (B310), massaman pie (B260), and baked mussels with white wine and spicy wasabi seafood sauce (B350).
Rates at Toscana’s two hotels currently start at B5,225 and B6,423 for a suite.
