The newly-opened Pongyang Zipline & Jungle Coaster (092-973-8868, pongyangadventure.com) in Chiang Mai’s Mae Rim district has probably the best ride of any of Thailand’s zipline parks.

The Jungle Coaster is a two-seater beast powered by gravity that snakes around the canopy on steel rails. Right now you can ride it for the promo rate of B150 (usually B300). Also check out the Quick Jump, a bungee-jump-like service where visitors fall to the ground from heights of 14 meters.

For ziplining, they offer two packages at B2,550 and B2,050, but we recommend you go for the round-up promotion at B800 (normally at B1,550), which combines a 12-station zipline tour plus a Jungle coaster ride.
