Overlooking Kuta Beach, luxe hotel the Sheraton Bali Kuta is hosting retreats in celebration of Nyepi Day, the Balinese New Year on March 31.

The annual celebration Nyepi Day is also known as 'the day of silence', so what better time to reconnect with yourself, through some Balinese relaxation, meditation and spa treatments.

The Simply Nyepi package, for IDR1,350,000 ($147) per room per night, includes breakfast and use of the facilities, while the Nyepi Retreat, for IDR1,650,000 ($179), includes all meals; each for a minimum of two nights.

Guests can take part in activities such as sunrise and sunset yoga sessions, and if you book any spa treatments at Shine Spa you'll also get a complimentary 60-minute aromatherapy swedish massage.

A retreat can be booked by March 30 for stays between March 28 and April 3.
