Waffles and 100th-floor views.

Claiming to be the world’s first observation deck cafe, Cafe 100 by The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong has got to have some of the best views in the city.

Located at sky100 Hong Kong Observation deck, on the 100th floor of Hong Kong’s tallest building, the cafe comes with a panoramic view of the city skyline and the Victoria Harbour.

An airy, Parisian-style design with floor-to-ceiling windows is the setting for delicious, made-to-order treats like sweet and savory French crepes or soft-serve ice cream in seasonal flavors like sakura (spring) and roasted sweet potato (winter).

We recommend buying a dining package (HK$250/B1,110), available through 2017) which gets you access to the observation deck, along with your choice of savory or sweet crepe, waffle, panini or poffertjies and a drink, saving you about 20-percent on the original price.

There are only 40 seats available, though, so reserve a table in advance at [email protected].

For somewhere to stay, Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong is running a special holiday package this Easter break. Book two consecutive nights and stay the third night for free, available until Apr 23, 2017. You’ll be saving over B17,000. Book now at bit.ly/2ojpsBQ.
