It’s hard to miss this cute little hostel tucked amid a row of shophouses in Chiang Mai.

The Bunk Boutique Hostel’s exterior already gives off a cozy vibe, with wooden door frames and a sign scrawled in a friendly-looking font on wood planks. Step inside and you’ll see a small front desk that looks similar to a coffee-shop counter, dressed up by a few colorful house plants and a rustic-style dining set.

Here, the sleeping arrangements are mostly dormitory style with wooden bunk beds set against bare brick walls and small, minimal apartment-style furniture with a pop of color here and there, giving off a very New York vibe (without the outside street noise).

There are also private rooms with their own bathroom. too. Prices range from B250 per bed and B350-1,200 per room.
