The arrival of winter means flower lovers can start looking forward to some serious blooming all over the country. First up is the chance to catch the jaunty yellow of the Bua Tong (Mexican Sunflower) in Mae Hong Son. The Doi Mae Ou Khor Bua Tong Blossom Festival is running from Nov 1-Dec 13 at Mae Ou Khor hill in Khun Yuam district, and will give visitors the chance to enjoy the vibrant sight of a 500-Rai field of Bua Tong swaying gently in the cool mountain air.
