DO

Railay Beach

Perhaps the most famous beach in Krabi, Railay is a world-class tourist destination, thanks to its towering limestone karsts that are loved by rock climbers. While there are more than 700 different climbing routes, popular climbing spots include the cliffs on Phranang Beach and those bordering Ton Sai Bay. For those who want to learn or get some local guidance, there are plenty of climbing schools in the area.

Hong Islands

Than Bokkhorani National Park is a 45-minute taxi from Krabi Town and home to this collection of small islands characterized by limestone cliffs and fine white sand beaches. On the largest island, Mu Koh Hong, you’ll find a 400-meter nature trail.

Than Bokkhorani National Park. Open daily 6am-6pm

Emerald Pool

Named after its glorious emerald color this hot-water lagoon is just 45 minutes from Ao Nang town in Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve. The vivid color comes from the high quantity of calcium carbonate deposits in the 30-50-degree water—a great way to relax after a walk in the nature reserve.
