This vast diner fits up to 300 people craving Chinese and Southern Thai recipes. Their signature dishes are gang kati poo sen mhii—big chunks of crabmeat in a thick coconut curry with rice vermicelli (small B150/ large B200) and tofu with crabmeat in Chinese gravy (small B220/ large B250).

Phang Nga

Sam See Seafood

Dishes here come at the price of Phuket 20 years ago. Simply ask what’s the fresh catch of the day, and they’ll cook up a delicious dish for you. Also try the hoi chak teen (Dog Conch, B130) served with the restaurant’s signature seafood dressing. As a bonus, it’s right by the beach.

Hok Kee Lao 

The old, two-story house with its worn-out tables wears its 30 years in business with pride. On the menu is tasty, old-school Chinese dishes—like, sea cucumber and abalone old school (B350). Their poo nheung ma nhaw (fat chunks of crabmeat in a lime dressing, B170) is meaty, spicy and not to be missed.

Krua Klangdong  

Tiny gazebos spread out beside a waterfall make for a picture-perfect scene to enjoy delicious Southern cooking. The creative yum sa rhai (B150) features sea grapes served with somtam dressing—seriously good and very popular among Krua Klangdong’s customers. If you can’t take the heat, steer clear of the stir-fried wild boar with sataw beans (B160)—for everyone else it’s a must.
