Chinese resort Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside is now offering an Opening Celebration Offer with rates starting at CNY1,100 (S$220) through June 30.

The getaway is less than 30 minutes from the city’s railway stations and airport, on the east bank of the Hai River (in the former Austrian concession district) and offers clear views of the city skyline.

There are 159 rooms and an on-site Banyan Tree Spa (the first in northern China), a gymnasium, hot and warm dip pools as well as a 25 metre swimming pool. Plus, five food and beverage outlets: The Grill, all-day dining establishment River Café, Chinese restaurant Bai Yun, Jin Bar and the Lobby Lounge.

The River Café and the Grill source their produce from Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside’s own Happy Farm in the Xiqing District. The chemical-free and fertilizer-free vegetables and herbs on offer include tomatoes, eggplants, and rosemary.
