Hot on the heels of Maiiam Contemporary Art Museum comes another must-visit art opening up North.

 

Asian Culture Station (053 222-324, asianculturestation.cac-art.info, www.fb.com/AsianCultureStation) is neither a gallery nor an art space, but more of an information center.

 

Run by the same team as the Chiang Mai Art Conversation (CAC) art map, led by local artist Sutthirat Supaparinya, it’s a space dedicated to spreading information about Asian art and culture, particularly from ASEAN countries and Japan.

 

It does this by hosting talks and workshops geared at sharing experiences, ideas and best practices.
