From September 15, AirAsia X, AirAsia’s long haul affiliate, will increase flight frequencies to Kathmandu from Kuala Lumpur from two to three flights weekly.

To mark the occasion, AirAsia X is offering promotional fares from RM399 (S$171) for travel between September 4 and May 22, 2013.

Visit the Nepalese city of Kathmandu for historic sites like Kumari Temple, the Swayambhunath Stupa (a Buddhist landmark) and the city centre Durbar Square. Plus, there are adventurous sports such as white water rafting, camping or even bungee jumping.

AirAsia flies 13 times daily from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur from S$36, making it easy to get a transit flight to the Nepalese destination.
