AirAsia unveils premium lounge in Kuala Lumpur plus some awesome travel packages
Seventy-percent off travel packages around Southeast Asia? Yes, please.
AirAsia (www.airasia.com) just launched its new Premium Red Lounge at the new Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA2) offering perks like buffet snacks, Wi-Fi, lounge seats, bathrooms and work spaces. Business class passengers can use the lounge for free, while general passengers must pay MYR79 (B650) to get in.
Currently, they are also running their Big Sale, which offers "zero baht" tickets on more than 3 million seats, meaning you can fly to top Thai destinations like Chiang Rai from as low as B100 per round including tax. The booking runs until Sep 11.
Also tempting are their AirAsia Go packages with three-day-two-night trips starting as low as B1,650 per person, including hotel stay and round-trip.
We found a two-night stay plus return tickets at luxury hotels in Vietnam like the fiive-star Sheraton Saigon Hotel Towers from B7,541. But what we're most crazy about are deals at luxurious hotels in Phuket like Amatara Resort & Wellness at B6,602, Keemala at B12,268, Point Yamu by COMO at B13,229 and Sri Panwa at B13,081. Woah!
While you contemplate some of those deals, here are some pics from the new Premium Red Lounge:
