If you haven’t got a reason to stop by at the Central Embassy before, you’ve got it now.
From Jul 6-10, the Central Embassy luxury mall will be bringing “The World in One Bites: Open World Culinary Fair” to Ploen Chit.
The event will feature 70 pop-up food stalls and cafes spread across the mall. The international title might be a bit of a misnomer, though. Looking over at the food lineup, the names are pretty well known and local—like the low and slow barbeque Smoked from chef Pam and or Samyan’s Indian fast food joint Mr. Jogg’s. For those with a sweet tooth, expect Thai crepes from Oum’s Great Crepe and the Japanese-Scandinavian shonuts from Huus of Bread.
Central Embassy restaurants will also be participating at the event, including the traditional Thai restaurant Inka, Marimekko’s first pop-up cafe, and the second branch of Phrom Phong’s Honeyful Cafe, which specializes in honey creations. Chocolate lovers can stop by the craft chocolate market, which boasts Thai chocolate creations from more than 20 booths and workshops.
