Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), one of the world’s premiere music festivals catering to electronic and dance music fans, will make its Southeast Asia debut this Jan 17-19 in Phuket. 

Tickets went on sale Aug 7 (B4,800 for general admission, B8,000 for VIP passes) and the event will be held at Phuket’s Boat Avenue Lakefront. It will also see collaborations with several international brands, including Aperol, and is being spearheaded by Billions EDC. 

The announcement is already building huge amounts of hype among Thailand music fans, and for good reason. Past editions of the 27-year-old festival have included some of the biggest names in electronic music, including The Chainsmokers, Tiesto, Illenium, John Summit, Skrillex, and Fisher. Thailand’s line-up is yet to be announced, but will likely feature a star-studded cast of both big-name international talent and local DJs.
