From now-Jan 5, Emporium Department Store will be hosting its Let’s Give Good holiday campaign alongside local artists and designers, bringing together tons of fun-filled festive activities and eco-friendly services, as well as donation drop-offs for you to give back to the community.

Highlights from the campaign include eco-conscious gift wrapping services curated by paper artist Pimm Chongcharoen of Teaspoon Studio and paper wrapping specialist known for her upcycling methods, Anchalee Sripaisal of Curious Pig. Expect wrapping papers with beautiful custom prints and wrapping techniques that do away with scotch tape like Furoshiki wrapping, a traditional Japanese gift wrapping technique topped with flower decorations made from repurposed materials.

In addition to these gift wrapping services, Emporium has also teamed up with multidisciplinary designers Trimode Studio and lifestyle product studio PDM Brand to design contemporary artisan gift hampers using the traditional Thai reed mat weaving technique.

Weekend workshops will also be held every Friday-Sunday, ranging from creating your own coasters with design studio Terrazo and lessons in Furoshiki wrapping with Curious Pig to ink mixing sessions and crash courses in calligraphy.

The campaign is also big on giving back and has set up different donation drop-offs around Emporium and EmQuartier. These include bra donations to the Chonburi Women’s Correctional Institution at Lingerie Salon (B/F, Emporium); PET-based plastic bottle donations at Gourmet Market (4/F, Emporium) and Food Hall (B/F, EmQuartier); sneaker donations (SportsMall, 2/F, Emporium) and bedding donations (4/F, Emporium) to non-profit organization Kanlayano Suankaew Foundation; and book and toy donations to non-profit organization Pun Namjai Hai Ai Aoon, Chuay Nong Tarn Lem Nhao (3/F, Emporium).
