If you’re partial to power ballads, jazz hands and spotlights, then you’ll be pleased to hear that London’s West End Men is coming to Bangkok this Jan 19, 2019.

This celebration of leading male voices of theater sees three talented singers from London’s West End come together in harmony to belt out theatrical and pop hits accompanied by none other than our own Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra.

Among the talent is Daniel Koek, who for two years took the lead as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables at London’s Queen’s Theatre. Joining him on stage will be Hugh Maynard—star of the Prince Edward Theatre’s Miss Saigon—and Oliver Tompsett, who is currently storming the Adelphi Theatre stage in Kinky Boots and has previously featured in Wicked as Fiyero.

A lady gets a look in too, with special guest Harriet Jones, who played the lead Christine in Her Majesty’s Theatre’s Phantom of the Opera before impressing reviewers with her latest performance in Guys and Dolls. She also made an appearance in Disney’s latest live-action retelling of Beauty and the Beast, in the role of the Beast’s mother.

It’s not often that Bangkok gets a taste of the West End, so be sure to watch out for ticket sales starting on Oct 6, 10am on ThaiTicketMajor, with discounted tickets in the early stages ranging from as little as B500 up to B4,500.

The British Embassy have also revealed plans to hold a competition, whereby aspiring stars can submit video entries to win the chance to perform on stage during the show. Keep an eye on their page for updates.
