Harry Potter fans shouldn't miss this live orchestral concert in Bangkok
Conducting wands at the ready!
Potterheads, wizards, witches and muggles better get ready, because Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in Concert is headed to Bangkok for the first time.
Having premiered n 2016, the CineConcerts and Warner Bros collaboration is now touring the globe, covering more than 40 countries. It will hit Bangkok's Prince Mahidol Hall this Nov 23-24, when the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) will bring John Williams' much-loved compositions to life, conducted by LA-based John Josensky.
As the orchestra plays, scenes from the movie will be projected onto a 40-foot screen, allowing the audience to relive nostalgic moments, from Harry's first encounter with Ron and Hermione on the Hogwarts Express, to the sorting ceremony and the terror of Voldemort. Since J. K. Rowling's series of fantasy novels first hit the shelves in 1997 (wow, that makes us feel old), her wizarding world has become the stuff of pop culture legend.
Fans in Thailand can get their hands on pre-sale tickets on 20 Sep and public sale from 21 Sep via ThaiTicketMajor.
