Wonderers yearning to return to the fields will have a very limited time to do so this year as the festival announced last night that tickets for its December return will only go on sale for three days.

Like last year’s event, the large music and lifestyle fest will take place mid-December at Pattaya’s Siam Country Club. This year, the festival will run five days instead of four, and tickets will only go on sale for 72 hours. While details are scant, organizers announced that they have spent time to “replenish, regenerate, and grow.”

While this year will see another day, the festival said it will limit attendance after last year saw a post-pandemic crush of revelers kicking up dust across the festival grounds, where two people died amid complaints that the emergency services were inadequate and unprepared.

“We are capping attendance to better control the quality of the event and ensure the safety of our community,” the festival announced. “So, we’ll hold just one 72-hour public sale this year, which starts…soon.”

About 25,000 people attended the festival last year, its first after being canceled three years due to the pandemic.
