Exhibition on the Tham Luang cave rescue being held at Siam Paragon
Get to grips with the story that captivated the world.
The Ministry of Culture is currently holding an interactive showcase on the Tham Luang cave rescue at Siam Paragon’s Lifestyle Hall.
Running till Sep 9, “Tham Luang Incredible Mission: The Global Agenda” chronicles the 18-day rescue mission that had the world on tenterhooks in June and July of this year, as 12 schoolboys and their coach were trapped inside a cave in the Chiang Rai province.
Divided into seven zones, a timeline of events is exhibited alongside the actual equipment that was utilized in the rescue mission, while visitors can walk through a 10-meter-long recreation of a portion of the cave.
Photography and media coverage of the story is also on display as well as thank you letters written by the boys and their coach. There is a section devoted to Navy Seal Saman Kunan, who lost his life during the rescue efforts.
The exhibition is later set to tour across Thailand.
Through Sep 9. Lifestyle Hall, 2/F Siam Paragon, 991 Rama 1 Rd.
