The Killers are heading to Bangkok. Finally.
The rumors were true.
The Killers are finally heading to Bangkok, concert promoters Viji Corp announced today.
A couple months after rumors first broke, it's now been confirmed that the Las Vegas four-piece fronted by Brandon Flowers will perform at Bangkok's Thunder Dome on Sep 17, with tickets going on sale Jun 2 from Ticketmelon.com (B2,800-3,500).
After forming in 2001, the band rose to acclaim with their 2004 album Hot Fuss packed with catchy post-punk hits like "Mr. Brightside," "Somebody Told Me" and "Smile Like You Mean It." Despite follow-up albums Sam’s Town (2006), Day & Age (2008) and Battle Born (2012) proving less commercially and critically successful, the band remains hot property as a touring act.
The Killers' long-awaited Bangkok show comes in support of their 2017 album Wonderful Wonderful.
In related concert news, VijiCorp will also present veteran industrial-rock act Nine Inch Nails on Aug 14.
