Former Freebird head chef Pongcharn “Top” Russell and former Suhring chef de partie Michelle Goh are teaming up as Ter'ra for six month's worth of pop-up dinners at the Sub-Zero and Wolf kitchen equipment showroom in Thonglor. Prices range from B2,850-3,250 depending on the ingredients that Top and Michelle dig up. These may take the form of a Ferrero Rocher-inspired snack made with 70% dark chocolate filled with duck pate and mulberry jam; or a delicate red cabbage risotto made with a variety of grains. On Feb 15-19, La Scala's Italian chef David Tamburini joins forces with chef Ciccio Sultano, owner of Duomo restaurant in Sicily to serve up a five-course set lunch for B2,900 per person or B3,900 with wine pairing, and a seven-course set dinner for B5,800 per person or B7,200 including wine pairing. Dine With The Dragon

On Feb 22-23, Mikkeller Ari will ditch its usual Thai-focused menu to offer Bangkokians are rare try of Bhutanese food and craft beer. A collaboration with Bhutan's Namgay Artisanal Brewery, "Dine With The Dragon" will comprise an eight-course Bhutanese-family style dinner by chef Lane Lehman (head chef at the ultra-luxe Amankora in Thimphu), complete with beer pairing and welcome cocktail featuring Bhutanese whiskey K5. Dishes to expect include the aforementioned sikkam paa, an air-dried pork curry with tomato, onion, radish and dried chili, and kakur thingye tshem, a pumpkin curry. The event is B1,400 per person for advance bookings, and 1,550 for walk-ins.
