Central Embassy is celebrating Valentine’s Day with an insane amount of chocolate and fun events
How can you tell it is the month of love?
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching once again, so there is no shortage of things going on this weekend to impress your date or just relax in style. This Feb 12-16, Central Embassy’s OPEN HOUSE on level 6 is bringing out the Valentine’s vibe, hosting an “OPEN Market: Chocolate Heaven” for couples, single people, and families members. Who doesn’t like chocolate?
The amount of shear chocolate products on offer here (cookies, bars, treats, scultures, the works, basically) makes it an amazing place to score an easy gift for Friday as well. Some of the hippest chocolate brands are displaying their best stuff for you to choose from from Feb 12-16 between 10am-9pm. Some of the shops are Yellow Library, The Parrot, Pinggy Homemade, Chocobeans, Ampersand, Peemlicious, Singapore Cookie by Namida, Matchima Chocolate, Power Ball by Kalamare, and Honcha.
If you are into DIY gifts, head over to the “OPEN Workshop” and get your hands on making chocolate molds and chocolate bars, from noon-6pm, this Feb 12-14.
Who says Valentine’s is only for grown-ups? Parents can take your kids to a “Chocolate Pancakes” workshop. Here, the little ones get to flex their creative muscles while whipping up some fluffy pancakes. There are two sessions per day, 11:30am-1:00pm and 2:00-3:30pm, with eight people per session, from Feb 29–Mar 1.
For those who want to delve a little deeper into the world of chocolate, don’t miss out on the “OPEN Talk '' event. Chocolate gurus and the owners of Kad Kokao will be exchanging stories and ideas on the topic of bean-to-bar chocolate at The Step, on Feb 15, 3.30-4.30pm.
