A 40-year retrospective of Osaka-born photographer Kenro Izu’s iconic work.

40-year retrospective of Osaka-born photographer Kenro Izu’s iconic work will go show at Bangkok's House of Lucie gallery this November.

The exhibition will include the series “Sacred Places,” which began with his travels in Egypt 25 years ago, has since spanned 30 countries, and is still in progress today.

He will also exhibit his 2004 body of work “BLUE” (see below), whose deep blue-black floral images and body studies were created by experimenting with layering Cyano over Platinum and seek to express inner sanctuary within the human body and objects.

The 2007 Lucie Visionary Award-winner will kick off the exhibition himself with a talk on Nov 3, 4pm.

Nov 3-30, House of Lucie, Ekkamai Soi 8, 095-478-9987.
