UPDATE: On Jun 18, BEC-TERO announced that The Chainsmokers have canceled their Bangkok concert due to unforeseen production circumstances. Refunds will be available at all Thaiticketmajor branches until Jul 21.

The EDM duo behind endless frustratingly catchy party tunes, The Chainsmokers, are set to bring their World War Joy Asia Tour to Bangkok. 

They'll take hits like "#Selfie" and "Closer" to the stage at Impact Challenger Hall 1, Muang Thong Thani on Aug 20, Live Nation-BEC Tero announced. 

Tickets start at B1,900, going on sale to the general public on Saturday May 25 2019 via ThaiTicketMajor and www.livenation.co.th, with various pre-sale options kicking off May 22.

The Chainsmokers, consisting of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, have been releasing chart-topping EDM-pop for the best part of a decade, recording with the likes of Coldplay and Halsey. A new album, World War Joy, is due out this year.

The Chainsmokers last played here in 2017.
