Jessica Rigg, the Australian blogger and brains behind The Local Tongue, is teaming up with some of the Asia’s most celebrated chefs for a special fundraising auction to help fire-affected Australian communities.

The auction puts five extremely unique experiences up for silent bidding. Those include spending your day eating street food in Bangkok with Gaggan Anand or dining at Singapore’s top restaurants with Julien Royer, the French chef behind the current number-one on the Asia’s 50 Best list, three-Michelin-starred Odette, where you’ll finish your day of feasting.

Other experiences in Asia include traveling around Bali in search of sweet treats with Will Goldfarb of dessert bar Room 4 Dessert and discovering Sydney’s Chinatown with Dan Hong, the “Iron Chef Australia” competitor and force behind Sydney’s Mr. Wong.

The outlier among the experiences is a day out in Milan, Italy, visiting the hottest restaurants with Diego Rossi of Trattoria Trippa.

To throw your hat in the ring, email fundraiser@thelocaltongue.com with your bid amount (in AUD) along with the name of the chef you want to spend the day with in the subject heading. There is no minimum bid, and 100 percent of the funds will be donated to the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund. The auction closes at 11:59pm (AEST) on Jan 20.

The Local Tongue is a globally focused project that features food-focused city guides and interviews with leading chefs, writers and industry figures from around the world. The project was launched by Rigg, a former PR and marketing professional, after she survived “a cancer doctors said [she] wouldn’t” and set off on a journey of gratitude and discovery across the planet, according to the website.
