The big bad list of Christmas events in Bangkok 2024
BK made a list. We checked it twice. And these are the Christmas cruises, markets, comedy, parties, craft workshops, dinners, and boozy brunches you're getting this year for being so good.
It’s that time of year. BK Magazine is back with all the holiday cheer you can stomach. This year, Christmas comes early, and we’ll be updating our list of Christmas events every Friday in December.
For two days, the Goethe-Institut Thailand will be bringing a very German Christmas to Bangkok. The event will feature more than 50 booths with activities and shopping, and this year will have special crafting workshops, performances, and a raffle. More info here, Goethe-Institut Thailand
Kicking off on Sunday, the Danish Christmas Bazaar will be bringing holiday cheer in buckets on the 19th floor of the Gaysorn Urban Resort, 19th floor with a visit from Santa (the real and actual Santa), Mikkeler beer, Indian food, raffles, kids’ activities, and more. The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce will be having their Christmas dinner at the luxe Capella this year and it will support the Sharing for Life Foundation and the Camillian Home for the Aged. More info here, Capella
The Swedish Chamber of commerce is bring the cold from home for a Christmas celebration at Westin Grande Sukhumvit featuring warm Vinglögg (mulled wine) along with Christmas carols, gingerbread house making, and Swedish Santa, Jultomten, will make a visit. More info here, Westin Grande Sukhumvit.
Friday the 13th with Christmas cheer, spooky chills, and Comedy Club Bangkok yuks. Head on down to this spot at Royal Oak for Bangkok's favorite troupe of improvers for their final show of the year. More info here, Comedy Club Bangkok
“You’ll shoot your eye out! You’ll shoot your eye out!” From Dec 21-31, the Tinseltown event at Kimpton Maa-Lai will feature a dinner buffet to go along with the all-time favorite Christmas movie “A Christmas Story” from way back in 1983 from Dec 21-30. More info here, Kimpton Maa-Lai
Ditch the egg nog for some proper cocktails at Asai Bangkok Sathorn, where they’ll be mixing up holiday-themed cocktails, and you’ll learn the latest in mixologist tactics starting at 3pm; event limited to 10 people. More info here, Asai Bangkok Sathorn
A little wholesome Christmas fun for the family, this soap workshop will be putting kids and parents together to make natural soap that smells how you want in fun seasonal shapes, complete with a Christmas vibe. More info here, Bangkok Soap Opera
Coming to you from Bangkok’s favorite spot for Greek food, this year will be a very pink Christmas at Aesops, with Tony Ardawan and a live band. More info here, Aesop’s
Banyan Tree is going all out this year for Christmas. On both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, this spot will have events at all of its venues: five course dinner at Vertigo, four course dinner at Vertigo Too, Christmas Day dinner with Saffron Cruise and Apsara Cruise, and Christmas buffet at Ramsai.
