BK made a list. We checked it twice. And these are the Christmas cruises, markets, comedy, parties, craft workshops, dinners, and boozy brunches you're getting this year for being so good.
It’s that time of year. BK Magazine is back with all the holiday cheer you can stomach. This year, Christmas comes early, and we’ll be updating our list of Christmas events every Friday until Christmas.
For those who like to dance their cares away on the holidays, there’s a special holiday event with Kizomba Connection Bangkok. “You’ll shoot your eye out! You’ll shoot your eye out!” From Dec 21-31, the Tinseltown event at Kimpton Maa-Lai will feature a dinner buffet to go along with the all-time favorite Christmas movie “A Christmas Story” from way back in 1983 from Dec 21-30. More info here, Kimpton Maa-Lai

Gordon Ramsay’s spot burst onto the scene earlier this year, and for Christmas they’re putting on a classic spread from Dec 22-28. You’ll find pressed ham hock and liver terrine, roast chicken, and classic Christmas pudding. More info here, Bread Street
A little wholesome Christmas fun for the family, this soap workshop will be putting kids and parents together to make natural soap that smells how you want in fun seasonal shapes, complete with a Christmas vibe. More info here, Bangkok Soap Opera
Led by crackerjacks in creative Thai cuisine—chefs Napol “Joe” Jantraget, Jirapat “Sept” Praphotjanaporn and Saki Hoshino—Kwann at Nysa Hotel Sukhumvit 11 employs fire and smoke to bring out the best flavors of local ingredients while adding witty surprises to each bite through the use of innovative techniques and heritage recipes. It’s even more special this festive season, as they are serving up their “Fired Up Feast” dinners on Dec 24 and 25, featuring an array of reimagined Thai cuisine with punchy flavors that will impress even Thai food die-hards. The little drummer boy will be going like the clappers at Irie on Christmas Eve, for all you festive folks who like to party for the holidays. More than half a dozen DJs will be bringing the tunes on the night starting at 9pm and complete with a showing from Daddy Nature. More info here, Irie

Pattaya: Christmas Eve and Christmas Day buffets at Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach
If you find yourself in Pattaya this holiday season, the coastal beach resort Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach has a few promotions to make the festivities a bit more jolly. There will be two holiday feasts happening on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The Christmas Eve Dinner Buffet (B4,002/adult, B2,001/child) on Dec 24 runs from 6-9pm, and includes Asian favorites from Wok Wok, Italian bites from La Cucina, as well as fresh sashimi, Christmas roasts, and more. Every booking is also entered to win a free stay at the resort. The next day, the Christmas Brunch Buffet (B3,414/adult, B1,707/child) from 12-3pm takes place at Village Butcher, the resort’s steakhouse, and will offer exuberant dishes like Boston Lobster Benedict and French Foie Gras.
