Bangkok’s best spots for counting down New Year 2025 in style
White parties, luxury dinners, club nights, countdowns, hangover buffets—Bangkok’s 2025 kicks off with a bang.
New Year is a special time of year—but it’s also kind of like Valentine’s Day in that you’ll either get bilked out of cash for a chair and a meal or end up wandering the streets angry just wanting to go home. Sure, we all know CentralWorld, IconSiam, Khaosan, and every mote of dust touching the river will have New Year events, but these are the ones to check out this year. We’ll be updating this list every Thursday until 2025.
Kicking off at 6pm, you can expect a lot from Bangkok’s BAD Award-winning Best Rooftop Bar. Entry starts at B1,499, and you can always expect a good view from this spot atop the Kimpton Maa-Lai. More info here, Bar.Yard
This bar may have started off with a bit of a touristy vibe, but Bangkok has really come around. And there’s no better time to see what the monkey god is doing than New Year, because the huge venue will be divided into six zones with DJs, performances, live jazz, free flow, and much more. More info here, Akara Sky Hanuman Bangkok
With tickets going for us B600, this gets you into Soi 11’s favorite spot to party. Expect DJ Pepe on the decks as well as live music throughout the night and well into 2025. VIP packages are available. More info here, Havana Social
A special dinner will be followed by a countdown party at Japan-ish, the stylish downtown bar with great food. DJs will be playing throughout the night to keep the vibes going until 2025. More info here, Japan-ish

If the countdown calls you to the club, this is the one to beat. Expect Jules Blons, Aneesh Medina, Anchun, and Dalah playing tunes starting at 8pm, and the party goes inside after the countdown. More info here, Escape Glass House
