Metal from Myanmar, shoegaze from Mongolia, and a dozen more acts announced for the Charoenkrung Creative District show.
On Mar 1-2, Bangkok Music City returns to Charoenkrung Creative District, announcing their first lineup with big names from Thailand and international acts, with the Bangrak Central Post Office acting as the main stage.

The conference and festival announced last week that three Thai acts will be headlining the event, led by Thai rock band Slot Machine, a Thai band that has been making hits for a quarter of a century, releasing seven studio albums and garnering international acclaim.

Milli, who needs no introduction, will also be playing the event. The Thailand ambassador, rapper, and TV star is a household name, and has gone from strength to strength since her big hit "Phak Kon" (and run-in with the government in 2021). The champion of mango sticky rice, has performed on stages from Coachella to Rolling Loud.

Indie band Kiki will round out the Thai headliners, a band that makes its tunes in English and who rocked onto the music scene with hit My World in 2021. The three-person group—Helena, Boss, and Non—have released three studio albums, their most recent being New Dawn No.01 last year.

Beyond the Thai acts, Korea will have three bands showing at the event, with Jooyoung, Cotoba, Jacqui, Moher, and Dabda all slated to perform.

Elsewhere from Asia, the show will include the brash metalcore of Against the Gravity from Myanmar, Mongolia’s shoegaze band Silhouette Tuesday, Haha Master out of China, Achi from Hong Kong, and the dulcet tunes of Vinh from Vietnam.

The Bangkok Music City event was first started in 2019, and draws thousands of music lovers from around the city for a two day festival. This will be the first Bangkok Music City since 2021.
