Bangkok is going big for Pride in 2025 and here are the events to check out
Love is love.
Last year’s party was no joke. Parliament passed legislation in June of 2024 to make Thailand the first country in Southeast Asia to legalize gay marriage—kicking of one heck of a celebration. Finally becoming legal in September of last year, this is the first Bangkok Pride with marriage equality and we are here for it. This list is coming at you early, so we’ll be updating it every Monday until June 16. Expect this list to get a lot bigger. We’ll see you in the streets.
So, this one’s pretty early, but it’s never too early. On May 24, Floor/ 9, the new space at So Bangkok will be featuring DJ Isaac Roldan and France’s DJ Leomeo for a night of beats in preparation for Pride month. More info here.
Bangkok Pride is behind this event, the organizers who bring us amazing events every year. For this forum, held for the second year in a row, the concept is "Born This Way" and will cover six main pillars: economy and business, medicine, technology, environment, human rights, and education. More info here.
Cul de Sac is throwing a Sapphic party featuring Mingle Bingo, a marketplace, a “Dare Wall”, and a countdown to pride. The venue is up-and-coming, throwing some really great parties lately, so this will be a rager that goes well after midnight. More info here.
There’s a lot to be proud of this year, and the Pride Awards, featuring 26 awards across 11 categories to celebrate the efforts of the community. And, of course, it’s not just an awards ceremony. More info here.
There’s no denying it, this is the must-see event of Pride month. Nowhere celebrates like Bangkok, and this year the parade will be going from National Stadium to Ratchaprasong—with everyone in the city letting their freak flag fly from noon to 10pm. More info here.
Avani Ratchada Bangkok will be putting on a brunch event complete with art exhibition “City of Many Colors” by local artist Caliiico, and a live music performance with LGBTQ+ advocate Thanaphat Wongkhothong (aka Topsie). More info here.
W Bangkok is one of the few hotels that actually knows how to party. First off, the Culinary Experience with Chef Ploy runs from the 7th to the end of the month, with a special workshop, and on the same night they’re doing a Pour for Pride event with guest mixologists. On June 14 there’s a creative workshop from Atom Prakorn, and following up on June 28 there’s a Pride Fun Run. More info here.
As Pride parties go, this is going to be a banger. The RGB Pride Party is a big deal every year, featuring 3D visual experiences, DJs, and Gogo boys. Tickets start at B1,300, and the whole shebang is inspired by everyone’s favorite gorgon. More info here.
The Warehouse in Talad Noi is throwing Bangkok Community Pride with Bangkok Community Radio. You can expect music, art, and camaraderie to spotlight local queer voices. More info here.
Bangkok is always there for a good party, and this certainly isn’t their first Pride Cruise. On the night, the city’s coolest floating club will feature drag performances from Amora, DJ Tannix, and karaoke. More info here.
