It’s the biggest annual music and lifestyle festival in Thailand, and this year they’re going very gimmicky with the tickets, allowing potential festival goers only 72 hours to secure their spots. The clock starts ticking today.
Between 6pm Jun 14 and 6pm Jun 17, Wonderers will need to snaffle up one of the only 28,000 tickets, as the festival promoters aim to keep ticket buying secure, fair, and undoubtedly to build a buzz around the event.
In fact, the one-time sales day may not even last that long. If the festival hits their cap of 28,000, they’ll shut down sales early. Tickets are priced at B8,900, and if there are any left over from this public sale, desperate patrons can try their luck at the gate where it will cost B20,300.
All tickets will be a “Full Pass,” meaning they are valid for all five days of the festival, the festival promoters have also said that there will be a limited number of weekend passes, though details regarding these tickets have not been released. Purchasers can buy up to four tickets per registered email.
The festival will take place between Dec 14-18 at The Fields at Siam Country Club in Pattaya. All potential Wonderers are advised to only buy tickets from
Ticketmelon.
Wonderfruit cites controversy around their ticket buying process by noting the amount of fake tickets and price gouging for the change. Notably, last year’s festival also saw two deaths at the festival, with attendees decrying the festival’s preparedness as
“ill-equipped and negligent.”
