Indie gig organizer Medium Rare is hosting a series of six gigs, titled Summer Sessions. New Zealand's Connan Mockasin will kick things off on Apr 5, followed by the dreamy "internet artist" Mellow Fellow and London-based pop band Still Corners on Apr 11. Next, American dream-pop darlings Wild Nothing will return to Bangkok for the second time on Apr 17. Moving on to May 17, 20-year-old American rapper Jimothy will take the stage before Norwegian indie pop extraordinaire Jakob Ogawa closes the summer of indie love on May 22.

LIVE MUSIC: Phum Viphurit x Whal & Dolph

After selling-out gigs across the US, Europe and Asia last year, emerging Thai artist Phum Viphurit is returning to home soil, joined by Thai duo Whal & Dolph. Phum released his first album in 2017, making a name for himself with hits like “Adore,” “Strangers In A Dream,” “Trial and Error” and his latest single “Lover Boy.” Whal & Dolph came to the spotlight last year when they received The Guitar Mag award for New Wave Of the Year 2019.

S2O Festival

You can always reply on S2O to pull out all the stops and this year is no exception. Boasting their biggest line-up to date, the fifth edition will be headlined by world-renowned electronic music producer and DJ Fatboy Slim; Dutch DJ-record producer Tiesto; and American electronic house DJ Steve Aoki, along with German house producer Robin Schulz, electronic/dance duo Cat Dealers and 22-year-old Australian DJ Throttle. Expect plenty of water jets and laser beams over the three-day period, too.
