Safari Masquerade Ball

 
Time to get wild. Put on your mask and wild costume in the African wilderness in the South African Safari Masquerade Ball. Latin Night

It’s Latin Night at Carmina at Carmina once again. Guests are encouraged to dress up and the best-dressed takes home a B1,000 voucher. Other than that, it’s Latin cocktails, live music, and BOGO sparkling wine for ladies. More info here, Carmina
 

Haring Party 

Yes, that’s a herring. Leidens Ontzet, or the 3 October Festival, originated in Leiden in the Netherlands to celebrate the anniversary of the 1573-1574 Siege of Leiden during the Eighty Years' War. Balearic Freaks

Thursday’s night from 9pm until late Oskar is putting on Balearic Freaks featuring DJ Dennis Gold with his tracks and Kob on drums. The dress code is gold, so break out those outfits that shimmer. More info here, Oskar

The Comedy Club’s 10th Year Anniversary

 
Helmed by Chris Wegoda, the Comedy Club Bangkok has been making Bangkok laugh for ten years now. They’ve brought some of the biggest names in comedy to Bangkok, and to celebrate their decade of yuks, this night is going to feature BK Magazine favorite Charles the French, Liam Wilkinson, and British comedian Joe Zalias. Oktoberfest at CALM

That’s right, October is here, and that means it’s time for beer steins and lederhosen. This special Oktoberfest event runs through the whole weekend and features German beer deals, pretzels and mortadella, and plenty of games.
 

Uncork California’s Best

 
Jason De Leo will explore wines from Prototype and Lapis Luna. There will also be a selection of Thai and Western bites at the luxe Chatrium. More info here. Chatrium
 

Vinyl Fair

Complete with workshops and live recordings, this vinyl fair will feature 21 vinyl shops from all over Bangkok. And, good news, this event will be running through the whole weekend with daily events and acts until Sunday. Tickets here, Asia Hotel
 

BBQ Night

Bangkok Latin

It seems like Latin dance is taking over Bangkok these days. At this event professional dancers from Argentina will be putting on salsa, bachata, and kizomba for a dance workshop and party across two dance rooms. More info here, Jasmine City
 

State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan

Three masterpieces will be played at the State Symphony Orchestra including Peer Gynt Suite No.2, Fantaisie Brillante, and Symphony No.5. This will be a showcase of Uzbekistan's most talented young musicians as well as winners of international competitions led by chief conductor Kamoliddin Urinbaev. Takeover 9th year anniversary

Escape is celebrating nine years of Mustache this weekend with a massive party. There are outdoor and indoor spaces and a wild DJ lineup including the likes of Jules Blons, Eddy Frampton, Dalah, Berry, Thorsten Karger, and Anchun. More info here, Escape

Lany Concert 

LANY will be returning to Impact Challenger Hall, Muang Thong Thani. Since its debut in 2014, LANY’s vocalist and guitarist Paul Jason Klein and drummer Jake Clifford Goss have performed in Thailand five times, missing only a couple of years due to Covid. At this rate, the band’s acronym for Los Angeles and New York should add BKK. More info here, Muang Thong Thani
 

Bluegrass Session 

Bangkok’s favorite bluegrass band will be hitting up the Blarney Stone this weekend for a night of folk, fiddles, mandolins, guitars, and banjos. The family-friendly show starts at 7pm. More info here, The Blarney Stone 
 

Classical Concert for kids

Arranged by Pro Musica and Pro Musica Junior, this classical concert will provide classical music for kids and adults of all ages. You can expect Bach, Haydn, Strauss, and more at Neilson Hays Library, and kids can get in for B500. More info here, Neilson Hays Library 
 

Champagne Brunch
