It’s our last weekend before Songkran, and Bangkok is gearing up. While the city is still reeling from the effects of the Myanmar quake, the weekend is here, and Bangkok never stops.
It’s back to Mimosa this weekend for a little bit of jazz, a little bit of wine. The Thursday sessions feature live performances starting at 7:30pm from Cherry Pick Band, and the wine is flowing until 10pm for this event. More info here, Mimosa Italian-Mediterranean Restaurant
Things will get loud over at Blaq Lyte Rover in Thonglor this weekend, with a free entry event featuring B Side and Elila B playing techno and deep house starting at 9pm and going late. More info here, Blaq Lyte Rover Public
This event will bring together the city’s best bands and musicians for a jam at this first ever Music Connection networking event, where 20 performers will meet 40 key industry pros at the new and improved Speakerbox. More info here, Speakerbox
Over at the live music powerhouse Jam, starting at 8pm, there will be a night celebrating local songwriters, with Fleur Wiber, Animal Flower, Matthew Fischer, and Narrative Death taking the stage. More info here, Jam
