Movie nights, championship fights, Children’s Day events, live music, and more.
This is only the second weekend in 2025, and Bangkok is already going big. This weekend will feature championship fights in Muay Thai and BJJ as well as live shows from some of the city’s favorite venues. Along with events for Children’s Day, it's a big weekend for movie lovers. In addition to the continuing Bangkok Open Air Film Festival, we’ve got Asian cinema at Asai Chinatown Bangkok and 1986’s “Little Shop of Horrors” at Arcadia.
The Asai Bangkok Chinatown movie nights continue this Thursday with another treat from the history of Asian cinema, this time with 2016’s epic “The Age of Shadows” directed with Kim Jee-woon, a tale set in Shanghai and Seoul in the 1920s. More info here, Asai Bangkok Chinatown
It’s back to Pastel this weekend for ladies’ night. Kicking off at 5pm, ladies can expect free-flow sparkling wine from 9-11pm along with special cocktails for the evening and buy-one-get-one oysters for everyone. More info here, Pastel
