Mermaid Moments is Thai artist Sirode Siramanon’s second solo exhibition at Sathorn 11 Art Space. Held through Oct 31, this exhibition will have over 10 paintings displaying mermaids in different contexts and environments, with a dash of erotica, a la “The Shape of Water.” The opening party takes place Oct 10.

Gaetano Donizetti’s famed comic opera debuts in Thai theaters, with modern twists added to the original version. Although sung in Italian, expect to see a Thai modern-day setting amidst a chaotic community mall in the heart of the buzzing Bangkok.

Hosted at 10ml Cafe & Gallery, this solo exhibition by Thai artist Ranuth Tong will display art relating to human socialization. According to Tong, that is born from food, warmth, and light, as “humans are not social animals...they only come together because of food and fire.”

The Phrom Phong craft beer bar teams up with Thai chocolatier Pridi Cacao Fevier for a beer and chocolate pairing. Beer flights will be available, with each brew matched to a different chocolate. You can expect more than just stouts to drink, too.

The Ekkamai craft beer bar flies in four hoppy beers from the highly regarded, small Danish brewery. It’s the first time the beer will appear in Asia, but there will only be one keg of each, so act fast.

Emquartier will be hosting a bustling Bollywood-themed bazaar in the heart of Bangkok through Oct 11. Expect to see booths featuring modern and classic fashion accessories, with food and drinks from various restaurants and vendors, as well as over 35 beers from Beerlicious and some cocktails made with Copperhead Gin. Activities include henna workshops, music performances, Bollywood flash mobs, cooking workshops, fashion shows, and much more.

This plant-based farmer’s market, happening on Oct 10, is looking to bring autumn to Bangkok. Expect to see Bangkok’s vegan vendors such as Plantiful, The Banana Warrior, Happy Grocer, and The Serial Pickler, as well as live jazz music and a henna workshop.
