A recent revisit to Central Plaza Grand Rama 9, a few months after its grand opening, gave us a nice surprise. Its Lower Ground (LG) level is dedicating a space to young Thai designers. We fell in love with boxy bags from The Sleeveless Garden hidden amid the racks of clothes. Story goes these three friends had problems finding a perfect vintage-style bag for an affordable price, so they took matters into their own hands. Their bags combine genuine leather with cool designs and fashionable colors—and affordable prices, of course, starting from B2,000. Their first collection includes this Old School bag that is perfect for both work and play. They remind us of the Cambridge Satchel bags, only much, much cheaper (size S B2,700, size M B3,700).
