Fresh from a long-running pop-up, local streetwear label Auntys Haus will officially launch its store at Siam Discovery this Saturday, Jul 20.
Since launching last year, the project by Nick Supreda
, the man who brought us shortlived but influential nightclubs Blaq Lyte
and Future Factory
(RIP), has already teamed up with influential international labels like Pleasures
(Hong Kong), 40s & Shorties
(USA) and Streetx
(dubbed by some the "Supreme of Australia") on a run of limited-edition collab pieces.
To mark the opening, there'll be another Bangkok-only collaborative collection, “OKOKOK x Blaq Lyte" for you to cop, as well as live painting by Lousy and of-the-minute live sets by a slew of DJs.
As for the clothing, expect a mix of '90s California skate culture with a dose of hip-hop and Japanese street fashion—the kind of stuff that lights up Hypebeast.
For those who want to celebrate long into the night, there's be an after-party from midnight till sunrise at BEAM (72 Soi Sukhumvit 55, 02-392-7750) with a fresh vibe delivered by Blaq Lyte DJs and Tokyovitamin.
2/F, Siam Discovery, 989 Rama 1 Rd., 02-658-1000.
