1. The “Award Winning Tastes” group features food products that have earned the highest accolades in their field. Selections include the 5J Iberico ham, considered the best ham of the world having won three stars in the Superior Taste Award from The International Taste and Quality Institute, Belgium, and Emmi Gruyere AOC, which won the Gold award at the World Cheese Awards 2014.

2. “The Legacy Gourmet” introduces long-standing brands that tell their stories over time. Here, the 135-year-old, fourth-generation-run Les Freres Marchand Cheese from Lorraine, France, presents its signature petit gros Lorrain and AOP Normandy camembert cheese.

3. “Innovative Creations” puts the focus on products made with modern techniques but still retaining traditional tastes, like the Italian brand Antica Acetaia della Marchesa’s Black and White Balsamic Pearls, which is made through modernist spherification techniques to form bubbles of balsamic vinegar.

4. As for seafood, “Wealth of the 7 Seas” gathers the best fruits of the seas. The picks include Irish Sterling oysters which grow for three to five years in the 100-year-old Gallagher farm in Ireland (only 400 available!); the biggest breed of wild Bluefin tuna from Japan; and halibut from Alaska.

5. For beef, all of the top five beef-producing countries can be found in “Best Breeds Above the Rest.” There are the tender yet low on fat Aberdeen Angus from Argentina, available for the first time at Gourmet Market, well-marbled Omi beef from Japan, certified Angus beef from the US, as well as grass-fed beef from Australian and New Zealand.

6. “The World’s Finest Fresh Produce” focuses on fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables like the thick white asparagus from France, Rockit apples and Sungold Kiwi from New Zealand.

7. The journey then takes you back to the roots with “The Pride of Thailand.” On top of our top produce like rice and mangoes, you can also try innovative products like the Coco Easy coconuts, which are pre-cut by laser to be easily opened just by pulling the attached ring tab.

Also during this period, you can "Meet the Gourmet Makers" through in-store activities featuring talented chefs and food experts like the former Dusit Thani executive chef Erwin Eberharter, renowned Thai chef Vichit Mukura, charcuterie artisan Teo Velez and La Rustichella’s truffle master Alan Casagrande de Maura.
