Bangkok fashionistas wanting to cop a summery Marni basket bag can splurge at Marni Market, the Italian luxury fashion label’s latest pop-up store in Siam Discovery.

Back for the third time, the eclectic pop-up store features a wide range of limited-edition goodies to brighten your home and wardrobe this summer. Designed in Italy and handcrafted by Colombian artisans, the lineup includes flower side-tables, stools, rocking chairs, baskets, animal sculptures and colorful animal masks made of metal and PVC.

Take your pick of Marni’s Instagrammable shopping bag collection, available in a multitude of colors, styles and sizes—think striped cotton hammocks and polyamide totes (B5,900), cute crochet bags in cotton and wool, and of course, the all-time popular, beach-and-picnic-perfect, Thai-style woven basket bags (B4,900-7,900).

If you want to inject a bit of fun and color to your home, the pop-up store's array of playful decor items ranges from garden stools (B12,000), cactus sculptures (B14,000) and other lawn ornaments to hammocks (B13,000) and magazine racks (B10,900).

Founded in 1994 by Consuelo Castiglioni, the high-end Italian label is known for its sleek men’s and women’s ready-to-wear clothing characterized by sculptural cuts and statement prints, as well as chic accessories collections.

In 2015, Marni launched its limited-edition OTOP-style woven basket handbags and totes, joining the list of high-end fashion houses whose bag collections are inspired by Thailand's humble everyday items—think Balenciaga’s Sampeng market-inspired striped tote to Hermes' banana leaf clutch and Dior’s hill tribe-inspired crossbody bag.

G/F, Siam Discovery, Rama 1 Rd., from now until Aug 31.
