Retro meets street style in April Pool Day and Carnival’s new collab
Dropping this Wednesday.
Bangkok-based, multi-label streetwear brand Carnival has teamed up with Thailand’s Insta-famous, vintage-style swimwear designer April Pool Day for an eye-catching new collaboration, featuring Carnival’s first ever womenswear line.
April Pool Day's old-school vibe and Carnival’s urban aesthetic collide in the collection, which features a crop top (B1,090) and a two-piece bikini (B2,490) for women and swimming trunks (B2,190) for men. All items come in a blue, pink and purple print created using watercolors rather than computer graphics—a technique aimed at softening Carnival’s typical prints. April Pool Day’s retro style seeps in with the high-waist bikini bottoms, yet the collection nods to Carnival with its sporty, surfer style.
The collection will drop online (April Pool Day / Carnival) and in the brand’s respective stores on Jun 10, with an extremely limited production run—so get there fast.
April Pool Day, 63 Saint Louis Soi 3, 085-824-8989. Open Mon-Fri 11am-7pm
