Another day, another new shopping mall opens in Bangkok. Meet The Market Bangkok, Ratchaprasong’s brand-spanking-new shopping complex to add to your retail therapy.

Situated right next to Big C Ratchadamri on Ratchadamri Road opposite from CentralWorld, the 21-rai, six-story mixed-use development is owned by The Platinum Group Plc, the owner of Platinum wholesale fashion mall and cost B9 billion to build.

The property includes two three-star hotels owned by Marriott International—Fairfield and Moxy Hotel Bangkok Ratchaprasong—while the retail space houses more than 1,200 shops selling food, drinks, fashion and more.

According to the mall’s official Facebook page, cafes and bistro-style restaurants including Starbucks, After You, Ros’Niyom and The Coffee Club will be located on the ground floor, while trendy fashion and accessories can be found on the M and first floors. Cosmetics, home decor and other lifestyle products are on the second floor, while the third floor houses more restaurants such as Laem Charoen Seafood, Bon Chon and Baan Ying, and the fourth floor offers health and wellness services.

The Market Bangkok officially opens today (Feb 14) and can be reached by R-Walk or Ratchaprasong Skywalk.
