Bangkok skaters’ go-to brand Preduce just landed a major collab, this time with iconic sneaker brand New Balance. 

Growing up skating in the late ‘90s, the Preduce team wanted to revive the concept of “having one pair of shoes to skate and one to chill after the session,” according to the founders. Incorporating elements of Thai culture and heritage into their designs, the New Balance Numeric x Preduce Thai Pillow Pack collection features the 255 (B3,190) and 659 (B4,990) skateboard shoes decked out in patterns and colorways inspired by the aesthetics of the traditional Thai triangle pillow. Using premium materials like leather and top-of-the-line suede, the 255 is ideal for everyday wear, while the 659 is a little more jazzed up and great for special occasions. 

The collection marks New Balance’s first collaboration with a Thai brand.

Limited to 100 pairs worldwide, the 659 will drop exclusively at Preduce’s Siam Square store and online at 12pm on Dec 14, while the 255 will be also be sold on the same date at the Siam Square store and online, as well as on newbalance.com and selected skate shops in Asia and US.
