Newest Naiise store at Clarke Quay Central is all about local brands and maker workshops
Its popular crafting sessions are fully booked till mid August.
Joining their two other existing stores at Westgate in Jurong and Wheelock Place in Orchard, this third brick-and-mortar outlet by online design retailer Naiise is no minor outfit. Spanning 6,500 sq. ft., it carries a variety of products ranging from furniture, home decor, kitchenware, food, fashion, tech accessories, stationery, music, books and magazines from over 400 international and local brands. Some highlights are home decor products by Singapore furniture designers Scene Shang, music records by homegrown singer-songwriter Inch Chua and books by local authors from Singapore publisher Math Paper Press.
There is also a workshop space for maker sessions happening every weekend. We've been told that they are all booked out till mid-August, so visit their website to purchase a spot first. You can even gift your friends classes ranging from lamp making and modern calligraphy to making mini planters.
Although details are still to be confirmed, plans are under way for a year-long series of designer showcases, art installations and maybe even in-store performances by local musicians. This may finally be the commercial outlet for local talents to display their works here.
