Looking for an inexpesive and sustainable way to update and declutter your wardrobe? Then get those eco-friendly shopping bags ready! This Aug 30, the ethical fashion proponents behind Fashion Revolution Thailand are heading to Lido Connect for a clothes swap event.

Clothing swaps are all about defying fast fashion and reducing your carbon footprint by preventing more clothes from going to landfill. Here's how it works. 

To attend the event, all you have to do is bring along the clothes that you no longer wear (clean and in good condition)—these can be vintage items, that Zara blouse you only wore once, plus jewelry, bags and shoes—and exchange them with other shoppers. Both men's and women's clothing is accepted in all shapes and sizes―the swap team will assess the items before giving you “credits” in return, which can be used to pay for your clothes during check out. 

In addition, there will be music, drinks and inspiring conversations led by the Fashion Revolution team, who will be sharing their tips and tricks on personal style, swapping, thrifting, self-love and conscious living. A personal styling corner will also be offered to help you select the right items to match your style.
