To many shoppers, Swedish fashion brand H&M is famous for two things: cheap outfits that make you look expensively-stylish and collaborations with big-name designers that make luxury brands seem all that more affordable. H&M’s previous collaborations, with the likes of Lanvin and Versace, had fashionistas lining up well before stores opened, with the collections selling out within days. This season, H&M has worked with influential Parisian fashion house Maison Martin Margiela. Founded by Belgian designer Martin Margiela in 1988, the label remains famous for its avant-garde style, even though the founder actually left the brand a couple of years ago. Maison Martin Margiela for H&M features reproductions of the brand’s signature pieces from previous collections, such as oversized jackets and pants, architectural coats and geometric dresses. Available worldwide from this Thursday (Nov 15). Queue up at 1-2/F, Siam Paragon, Rama 1 Rd, Bangkok, 02-690-1000. BTS Siam.
