In celebration of a decade in Thailand, Pleats Please Issey Miyake, the brand behind the ubiquitous origami bag, has launched a Bangkok-exclusive collection called “Mede-Tai.”

Translated roughly as “lucky [or kind of wealthy] fish", this collection utilizes a printed, flower design that manages to also resemble the red scales of a snapper. The patterns are also available in black and gold, which complement the white pleated background fabric.

Styles include a dress, a skirt and a jacket, or, if the whole-body fish-scale look is too much for you, go with the pleated pouch bag (B4,500).

Only available at Pleats Please Issey Miyake, G/F, Siam Discovery, Rama 1 Rd. 02-021-2142
