Canon DSLR users can now try out lenses before purchase from March 28.

Inspired to build on your photography tools after reading about the keenest eyes in town? Good news: Canon is launching its Try and Buy Programme from March 28 onwards, where you get to test a desired camera lens before making your purchase.

Selected lenses currently available for loan include the EF70-200/2.8L IS II and the EF8-15/4L Fisheye zoom. A nominal fee (from $18 for a day) will be charged and up to two lenses can be borrowed at a time. Decided on the tried model? Get a discount on the purchase of the extended warranty for the same lens model (discount is the same as the loan fee).

Lenses can be collected and returned at the Canon Imaging Academy. For more information, visit the Canon Lens Try and Buy website.
